Before the start of the upcoming season, Odell Beckham Jr. wanted to sign a new deal before playing a game for the New York Giants. Looks like he got his wish.
The 25-year-old WR signed a five-year, $95 million dollar extension including $65 million guaranteed. Odell's new extension makes him the highest paid receiver in the NFL.
Before Odell inked his new deal, Steelers Antonio Brown's $17 million per year average and Buccaneer's Mike Evans $55 million in total guaranteed money were the leagues best contracts for wide receivers. Beckhams new contract eclipsed both of them.
Odell is coming off of a season-ending ankle injury and will look to get the Giants back on track next season.
