SportNet LA and Dodgers analyst Ned Colletti joined Rodney and Kelvin Washington to discuss the Dodgers recent turnaround and their pitching. Colletti says the Dodgers recent success comes at great time.
"I think it's a matter of time. I think their the only team that can actually put distant between them and anybody else in the division. This takes time and everybody and you evaluated it everyday cause you watch it everyday but that doesn't mean you got to do something you just kind of watch it. Brining Santana up will another add. You look at what they have done in the last few weeks with players that have come to the rescue so to speak, shows a lot of depth."
The Dodgers started off the year with multiple injuries to key guys in their rotation. Colletti says they have been very lucky to have solid young players step up.
"Its really uncanny when you think about it. As long as you have been watching sports that a team would go and call up as many players as they have called up the last few years and they always find a way to contribute....Over and over again not just this year, last year and the year before, lot of guys come up and do wonderful."
