Dodgers outfielder, Yasiel Puig, joined David Vassegh to talk about improving at the plate and playing in Miami. Puig says that playing Miami is always one of his favorite places to play because of the energy of the city.
"I am so excited to play in Miami because my whole family is here and the other friends is here and tonight is going be a good night for me and good night for my team and start winning games you know. I practice everyday working hard in the cage in Los Angeles and every stadium because this is going to be a longer season. Its not good where my offense is right now but I hope it is coming back soon in the last couple of days."
Puig also talked about his friendship with Jose Fernandez and what playing in this city means to him.
"I try to play better in every city it's not only here in Miami but thank God when I come here I have good games like a couple of home runs, nice catches, when Rich Hill tried to throw a no hitter and I made the catch in the seventh inning I feel something special about this place. Sometimes I strike out there are things in the game where my good friend pass away. I want to come here and play with him because when he was pitching I have a good time because he is a good pitcher, he strike me out and laughing and I tried to get a hit to him to laugh at him back. Something happen in the life and he is not here anymore but he is going to be in a good place with God."
