New Orleans Saints' running back, Mark Ingram, gets suspended 4 games for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Ingram will be eligible to return on October 1st after the Saints game against the New York Giants on September 30th.
Last season, Ingram posted career highs in rushing yards, receiving yards and total touchdowns. His improved play helped fuel the Saints offense, which was the second best offense in the NFL last year. The 28-year-old also earned his second Pro Bowl selection after racking up 1,000 yards for the second straight season.
The suspension raises bigger questions as Ingram is in his last year of contract.
