Rookie point guard Lonzo Ball showed on Saturday why the Los Angeles Lakers drafted him with the No. 2 overall pick, rebounding from a forgettable debut with a triple-double performance.
The Lakers fell to the Celtics in front of a sold-out Summer League Crowd on Saturday, but Ball finished the day with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and four turnovers in 34 minutes of action. The triple-double followed up a 2-of-15 shooting performance that put a damper on a highly-anticipated debut.
