Could Dodgers trade for A's right-hander Sonny Gray?

"A's right-hander Sonny Gray would appear a perfect fit for the Dodgers. General manager Farhan Zaidi knows him well from their days together in Oakland, and five of the Dodgers' top seven starting pitchers are left-handed."

Could the Dodgers be on the verge of adding another high-end arm to their starting rotation?

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, as seen in the quote above, Oakland A's ace Sonny Gray checks off more than one box for the club.

Gray gives the team a reliable right-hander arm on a roster that is stacked with left-handed starters. Obviously, his familiarity with Dodgers general manager Farhan Zaidi is also a plus.

That said, Rosenthal also notes that some within the organization do not view a right-handed starter as a pressing need, and would prefer to bolster the bullpen if the team is to make a move.
