Larry Bird steps down as Pacers President

Unexpected news emerged from the Indiana Pacers organization emerged on Friday, as Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that Larry Bird was stepping down as team president. Kevin Pritchard will assume responsibility of basketball operations.

Wojnarowski also reports that Bird will remain with the team as a consultant.
