As the first round of the NFL Draft reached its home stretch, the Oakland Raiders provided perhaps the biggest shock of the evening when they selected former Ohio State DB Gareon Conley.
Conley was considered a first-round lock in the weeks leading up to the draft, but a recent rape allegation caused him to slide down draft boards. The Raiders clearly felt confident in Conley's claims that he is innocent, and took him with the 24th overall pick in the first round.
