Why Game 3 is a must-win for the Clippers

LOS ANGELES, CA - APRIL 15: DeAndre Jordan #6 of the LA Clippers fends off Gordon Hayward #20 of the Utah Jazz for a rebound during a 97-95 Jazz win at Staples Center on April 15, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledge

NBA Insider Mark Medina joined "Lunchtime" with Roggin and Rodney on Friday to discuss the Clippers' first round playoff series with the Jazz, which heads on the road after the teams split the first two games in Los Angeles.

Medina infers that Friday has the feel of a must-win game for the Clippers, who have developed an unfortunate reputation in recent years when it comes to the postseason.

"They've developed a reputation over the years where, when things get tough, they complain to the refs or get frustrated," Medina said. "Typically in home games, especially in the playoffs, the reserves for the home team plays a lot better than on the road. So I think [Friday] is going to reveal, for better or worse, if the Clippers have a chance to win the series."
