The Los Angeles Lakers have parted ways with Marcelo Huertas, sending the reserve guard to the Houston Rockets according to a report from NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The Lakers will reportedly receive point guard Tyler Ennis in exchange for Huertas.
The move gives the Lakers added youth, as Ennis is still just 22 years old despite this being his third season in the NBA. Wojnarowski reports that the Rockets will waive Huertas, who is averaging 2.7 points per game this season.
