Dodgers Drop Game 4 As They Now Face Elimination

After the longest game in World Series history yesterday in Game 3, the Dodgers jumped out in front of the Red Sox 4-0, but then saw the lead collapse in front of their very eyes.

Rich Hill was on the mound tonight for the Dodgers and he absolutely delivered when the Dodgers need him to. Hill went is scoreless through six innings, giving up only one hit and striking out six.

In the 6th inning, Yasiel Puig blasted a 4 run shot to give the Dodgers a 4-0. But since that point, things went down for the Dodgers and in a hurry.

Red Sox Brock Holt got things going with one double and was eventually brought home by Devers. The Dodgers then load the bases with two outs after intentionally walking Mookie Betts and giving up a single to Andrew Benintendi. The bases wouldn’t be filled for long, though, as Pearce cleared the bags with a three-RBI double.

The Red Sox took Game 4 and now are one game away from winning the World Series. Clayton Kershaw will be on the mound tomorrow night for the Dodgers.
