Joc Pederson Reportedly Signs With The Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs have agreed to terms with Joc Pederson according to Ken Rosenthal.

Pederson can crush right-handed pitching, which means plenty of opportunities exist in the league. He spends most of his time in left field, but gets time in right field, and can still play some center in a pinch. The Cubs outfield currently includes Ian Happ, Nico Hoerner, ad Jason Heyward, and Pederson partially replaces Kyle Schwarber who signed with the Washington Nationals earlier this month.

In 43 games he had a slash line of .190/.285/.397 with 7 home runs, 16 RBIs, and 21 runs scored. The year prior he had career highs across a 149 games played. His slash line was .249/.339/.538 and he had 36 home runs with 74 RBIs and 83 runs scored.
