Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol were two of the closest teammates to probably ever play in the NBA. With that said, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Gasol is putting in the effort to be with the Bryant family during this hard time.

Bryant and Gasol won two titles on the Lakers in 2009 and 2010 and the Lakers beat the Orlando Magic in 2009 and the Boston Celtics all the way back in 2010. Bryant won Finals MVP both times.In 2021, Bryant will be inducted into the Hall of Fame along with Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. It’s possible Gasol could be involved in the speech since he was so close to Bryant.
