Michael Jordan memorabilia has been highly sought-after ever since the documentary. That trend continues to hold true as a ticket stub from Jordan's regular season debut sold for a record amount.
Huggins & Scott Auctions recently announced that the ticket stub sold for $24,907.50 on the open market. The game, which was attended on Oct. 26, 1984, doesn't exactly have a ton of ticket stubs still around. In fact, sports memorabilia authentication service PSA has graded just 11 tickets from that night's game at Chicago Stadium.
The only ticket stub of Jordan's that sold for a higher amount was the ticket from his NBA preseason debut, which sold for $34,800. In his professional debut, Jordan scored 16 points on 5 of 16 shooting while also dishing out seven assists, securing six rebounds, and recording four blocks. The Chicago Bulls ended up defeating the Washington Bullets 109-93 to open up the 1984-85 campaign.
