“The coronavirus pandemic has upended daily life and made an already ambitious project schedule even more challenging,” Don Webb, chief operating officer for the Las Vegas Raiders’ construction subsidiary, said on Thursday, perMick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
“But even with this added degree of difficulty, Allegiant Stadium remains on track for substantial completion of its construction on July 31,” Webb said. “The construction continues generally on a six-day a week schedule, with a daily workforce that has exceeded 2,000 workers on site.”

The Raiders knew moving from Oakland to Las Vegas would be lucrative, but the revenue at the new stadium is exceeding the team’s expectations. Raiders have made $549 million from the sale of personal seat licenses at Allegiant Stadium, more than doubling the team’s initial projections of $250 million, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The additional money from personal seating licenses has allowed the team to add additional features to the stadium, more suites, a field-level club, and enhanced internet connections for fans.
