Clayton Kershaw Talks Opening Day & How Long He Thinks The Season Should Go

Clayton Kershaw joins Fred Roggin and Rodney Peete to talk about missing Opening Day & what he has been doing during this time of quarantine.

On not pitching Opening Day:

It's a weird feeling. Not to get to pitch today really kicked that baseball isn't going to start when it should and it's a sad feeling.

On how long he will need to pitch in an actual game:

You would only need 20 days and that gets you 4 starts. Then you will be ready for the season.
It gets a little risky the further you go in the season. You start talking about Thanksgiving and December for a World Series, that gets a little iffy in my opinion. I'm all for doubleheaders and playing as many games as we can.
