Dodgers right-handed pitcher Dustin May made his Major League debut this past Friday at Dodger Stadium vs. the San Diego and showed what he could do at a major league level.
Coming into the game, Dustin May's nickname is 'Gingergaard' because of his long red hair and pitching style that is very close to Noah Syndergaard. But once Syndegaard caught wind of the nickname, he didn't seem pleased and called it "stupid."
"That's just [stupid]. … I really don't care about an opposing pitcher."
May surrendered three earned runs in 5.2 innings in his MLB debut against the San Diego Padres. May's was able to show off his hard sinker and nasty curveball that had many Dodger fans leave the stadium very encouraged.
May finished the game with a line of: 5.2 IP, 4 R, 9 H, and 3 K's on 97 pitches Friday night.
