The gymnast who suffered a severe leg injury accomplished her goal of walking down the aisle at her wedding.
Auburn University graduate Samantha Cerio shared a couple of photos on Instagram Monday of the ceremony in Fairhope.
The former gymnast dislocated both knees and tore multiple ligaments during a routine that shocked not only everybody inside the building, but millions of people who saw the viral video on social media a couple of months ago back in April.
Cerio used crutches to cross the stage at her graduation in May when she earned a degree in aerospace engineering. The fantastic news is, she walked down the aisle free of crutches to marry her fiancé Trey Wood.
