Mick Cronin Agrees To Become The Next UCLA Coach

It is official, UCLA has hired former Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin as its head basketball coach, according to sources.

Cronin has a 365-170 lifetime head coaching record. He spent three years at Murray State and then the last 13 seasons at Cincinnati.  In those combined 16 seasons, he's been to the NCAA Tournament 11 times, achieving one Sweet 16 appearance with Cincinnati in 2012.  He's led Cincinnati to nine straight NCAA Tournaments. 

The deal is expected to be a 6-year deal, worth $24 million.
