Less than a minute into the rivalry game against the North Carolina Tar Heels, Zion Williamson blew straight through his Nike shoe during a move at the top of the key. He was injured and didn't return to the game.
Right after the game, rumors started swirling on whether Zion might not sign with Nike after he declares for the NBA draft, with Big Baller Brand being brought up as a possibility.
That questioned was posed to the CEO of BBB, LaVar Ball, and he made it clear that he wasn’t pursuing anybody because his boys were already bigger than Zion Williamson.
“No, I’m not going to pursue nobody. Like I said, I worry about my three boys first.”
LaVar went on to add that LaMelo Ball's finger has been broken for quite some time and will be the coach's whether he plays or not game to game.
