LaMelo Ball enrolled in SPIRE Institute (Ohio) just a couple months ago for his senior year of high school. While his future as of right now is uncertain, he has expressed his desire to play in college next season. He listed Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina, and USC as his potential destinations.
In the latest episode ofBall in the Family, LaMelo told Lonzo Ball that he was hearing from both USC and Kansas. This was the exchange:
Lonzo:Are you still trying to go to college?
LaMelo: Oh, I’m going for sure now. I actually talked to USC two days ago, talking to KU.
The conversation that happened was in November right before the Lakers game in Cleveland. LaMelo posted a picture on his Instagram at USC back in December and many people thought that he was on the campus for a recruiting visit. He’s also done the same with Michigan and Kentucky.
