Legend Frank Robinson Has Passed Away At The Age of 83

It is being reported that legend Frank Robinson has died at the age of 83, according to different sources.

Robinson was also the first African American manager in baseball, becoming player-manager of the Cleveland Indians in 1975 and staying on as manager a year after he hung up his cleats in 1977.

During his career, Robinson compiled a .294 average, a .926 OPS, 1,829 runs, 1,812 RBI with the Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, then-California Angels and Cleveland Indians. He was named Rookie of the Year following the 1956 season with the Reds and won the MVP award for his 1961 season.

Robinson was put into the Hall-of-Fame on the first ballot in 1982.
