Dejah Rondeau, of Exeter, who wears the number 11 in honor of her favorite player, Julian Edelman, was invited to Foxborough recently to meet Edelman and team owner Robert Kraft after the team learned that she has been bullied.
Her mother, Nichole Brock, told Seacoastonline that her daughter faced a lot of criticism for being the signal caller.
“Some people don’t want to accept a female quarterback. She’ll have to put in 110 percent when others are putting in 50,” Brock said. “But Dejah becoming the quarterback is the best thing that could happen to her. She’s worked really hard at it.”
