This might just be one of the best endings to a football game that you will ever see in your life.
This weekend, Gonzaga College and powerhouse school DeMatha Catholic met in the Captital Division Championship game. DeMatha Catholic school was gearing up to win their fifth championship in six seasons until an ending you wouldn't not believe happened.
Down 33-36 to DeMatha, Gonzaga's Caleb Williams threw a touchdown pass to Sam Sweeney to go up 40-36 with :29 seconds left in the game. On the ensuing kickoff, DeMatha took a squibbed kickoff all the way back to the end zone for a touchdown to go up 43-40. Then with 5 seconds left, quarterback Caleb Williams threw a Hail Mary into the end zone for a touchdown to win the championship.
Unreal ending to an unreal game.
