We don't always give the recognition to long snappers, but in this case it is a must.
After the loss vs. the Rams, reporter Courtney Cronin was told that long snapper Kevin McDermott lost the tip of his pinky after getting it caught in a player's facemask.
McDermott went right back out into the game after team doctor's stitched it up it up for him. During the television broadcast, it was reported that McDermott had quite a bit of blood that wasn't stopping and nobody knew the extent of the injury until the end of the game.
Unbelievable.
