Rams cornerback Aqib Talib has been placed on injured reserve and will have surgery on his ankle tomorrow. After the operation, coach Sean McVay says that he will have a clearer timetable.
This is a big blow to the Rams secondary because of the injury to Marcus Peters who will reportedly miss a couple weeks with a calf strain.
The Rams have promoted cornerback Dominique Hatfield off their practice squad and will be starting right away. Hatfield played in 11 games for the Rams last season and will be a full go against the Vikings this upcoming Thursday.
