As the Dodgers approach their series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, Alanna Rizzo gives her input to Fred and Rodney.
The last time the Dodgers played at Wrigley Field, Justin Turner and Chris Taylor shared a NLCS MVP, Kike Hernandez had the game of his life, and the Dodgers clinched their berth to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1988.
Returning to Wrigley Field is like returning to the scene of the crime. The difference is this series is in June and the Dodgers are nowhere near where they want to be.
Playing the Cubs has this newfound rivalry because of the last few years, and this is an important series since the Cubs are more than likely to be in the playoffs again.
Rizzo shines light on the quality of at bats of the Dodgers, and gives praise to Justin Turner's presence and Dodgers' hitting coach, Turner Wards, work ethic.
As well, Rizzo explains that Matt Kemp's presence out of lineup on the game finale against the Giants had not to do with his one-game suspension. The Dodgers and Matt Kemp are still holding their appeal against the suspension. The day off was just a chance to give Kemp some rest since he is expected to play in all three games in Chicago.
