Colin Cowherd: âWhat does âfixableâ mean? Does âfixableâ mean the GM has to be gone? Does âfixableâ mean a public apology? When you say itâs âfixableâ how do you fix it?â
James Jones: âIâve talked to Aaron, I talk to him all the time, and he told me itâs not about the GM. Itâs not about new money and itâs not about the GM. So when I hear people say itâs about getting the GM fired and all these things, itâs not about that. Thatâs why from my conversations Iâve had with him, I truly believe that itâs fixable because what heâs told me in conversations that weâve had and me knowing Aaron Rodgers and being close to Aaron. You sit down and go over the things that you need to get ironed out, and whatâs more important to him and to the organization, and things like that. Itâs fixable, but itâs not about getting the GM fired, and heâs told me that⌠Heâs willing to go in there and make sure they get this thing right.â (Video above, FULL interview at bottom of page)
Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Tuesday saying that heâs had conversations with Aaron Rodgers surrounding the ongoing standoff between him and the organization, and says Aaron told him it has nothing to do with Rodgers wanting Packers GM Brian Gutekunst fired.
Jones says the feud is âfixableâ and added that Aaron is âwilling to go in there and make sure they get this thing right.â
