Colin Cowherd: Aaron Rodgers' 'Moody' Personality is Hurting the Packers

Colin Cowherd: “Grumpy, snippy, and condescending Aaron Rodgers is back!... I love what Russell Wilson represents, and sometimes Aaron Rodgers drives me nuts for what HE represents. Let me give you an example. I presented a stat this week that even people who defend Aaron Rodgers can’t argue this stat. Why does Green Bay get blown out so much with Aaron, and why do they never come from behind? It’s bizarre. Russell Wilson wants to be neutral, meaning no peaks and no valleys. No huge celebrations, and no down in the dumps. I believe that Aaron is the opposite, and Green Bay is the opposite, and I believe teams become their quarterback. With Green Bay you get these massive blow out wins and a lot of ugly losses. With Aaron you get glib Aaron on 'The Pat McAfee Show', and snippy Aaron. On the field you get 'Discount Double Check' Aaron, and bad body language Aaron. What does it translate to? Aaron has been blown out 19 times in his career, 10% of his games. That’s DOUBLE Russell Wilson, Mr. ‘Neutral.’ When things are great for Aaron he is on top of the world, he is condescending, he is glib, and he is Discount Double Check. When they are bad he is moody, snippy, bad body language and ‘I don’t want to talk about it.’ Teams become their quarterback… If you’re trying to figure out why Aaron has so few fourth quarter comebacks historically, it makes no sense. Why does this team lose, and get blown out. THAT’S your answer. Moody people, moody teams.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why Aaron Rodgers' ‘moody’ personality has hurt the Green Bay Packers his entire career, as Colin believes Rodgers’ constant swings in emotion have resulted in the same fate for his team, as Green Bay has made of habit of trading big wins over the years, with getting blown out.

Check out the video above as Colin details how NFL teams often take on their quarterback’s personality, and why that’s been a bad thing in Green Bay’s case.
