Colin Cowherd: "Kyler Murray is Better than Lamar Jackson"

Los Angeles Lakers v Phoenix Suns
Colin Cowherd: “I’m going to say something that is going to be WILDLY CONTROVERSIAL… Kyler Murray is BETTER than Lamar Jackson. We don’t watch Arizona play. With a bad offensive line – Baltimore doesn’t have that, and with a rookie head coach – Baltimore has John Harbaugh, Kyler Murray is completing nearly 64% of his passes and they’re in EVERY game. We all acknowledge that Arizona is a bottom 7 roster in the NFL’s toughest division, and he’s had injuries (David Johnson) to deal with. Tell me what Baker Mayfield does better than Murray ten games into his career?? NOTHING. I like the THROWER. Kyler throws a better ball than Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd and former Pro Bowl wide receiver Greg Jennings discuss Colin’s bold proclamation that he thinks Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray is a better player than Baltimore Ravens second-year signal caller Lamar Jackson.

Both players have enjoyed great success in the league as electric dual-threat quarterbacks that many pundits around the sport had questioned the moment they were drafted.

Jackson, who at one time had NFL teams asking him to try out as a wide receiver at the pre-draft combine, has emerged as a leading MVP candidate for the first place Ravens, and Murray, who nearly left football to play baseball, is 8th in the NFL in passing yards and is keeping an inferior Arizona roster competitive every game.

Check out the audio below as Colin details why he’d rather have the more natural passer, Murray, as his quarterback of the future, with Jennings offering up a rebuttal to Colin’s analysis.
