Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said he and his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, are "absolutely happy" together during the latest episode of his New Heights podcast released on Wednesday (October 30).

Travis and his brother, retired former Philadelphia Eagles center and New Heights co-host Jason Kelce, were joined by his Grotesquerie co-star Niecy Nash, who said people would "text [her] about Travis" when they began working together on the show.

“Then they’re like, ‘Well, what do you know about his relationship?'” Nash continued. “I’m like, ‘Get out of that man’s business!'”

Travis laughed after Nash called herself a "vault" and promised that "nosy" people "aren't getting nothing out of" her.

“I appreciate you,” Travis responded. “Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love.”

“You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that," he added.

Kelce's comment came nearly two months after a fake "comprehensive media plan" detailing their supposed potential breakup went viral on social media. The three-time Super Bowl champion's publicity team denied making the "false and fabricated documents" in September and the couple has since been seen together at the U.S. Open, the American League Championship Series at Yankee Stadium, a date in New York City and at several of Kelce's games at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift has attended most of Kelce's games that haven't conflicted with her 'Eras Tour' schedule since they began dating, which included flying from Tokyo after the completion of her concert to Las Vegas for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII victory against the San Francisco 49ers. The couple initially went public with their relationship when she attended his game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium last September.

Kelce famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer. Swift later said that the three-time Super Bowl champion "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast, which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.

The Chiefs entered the 2024 NFL season coming off their back-to-back Super Bowl victories and their third in five years. Kelce signed an extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $17.125 million during the next two seasons, having previously been set to make $12 million in 2024 and $16.25 during the 2025 season.
