After being closed for more than a year Knott's Berry Farm announced today it will reopen for season passholders beginning May 6th.
The Buena Park theme park will reopen for the general public on May 21.
Among the interactions that will be open, “Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair'' will debut with a “4-D interactive dark ride'' that is an homage to a another classic attraction from 35 years ago.
"Knott's Summer Nights'' attraction is also scheduled to return with live music and food and drink specials. The theme park will also host a "nightly ceremony'' that will be focused around a redesigned, illuminated K-tower at the park. The design will feature photos and other decor that pays tribute to the park's history.
Current health restrictions in the state limit the capacity of theme parks, with only Californians admitted with reservations.
