Seahawks Cut Rookie Who Tried To Sneak Woman Into Hotel Dressed As A Player

The Seattle Seahawks cut rookie cornerback Kemah Siverand after he was caught trying to sneak a woman into the team's hotel. Even before the coronavirus pandemic, NFL teams have put strict policies in place to keep visitors away from the players during training camp. Now, visitors pose more of a risk than just a simple distraction.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, surveillance video from the team's hotel captured Siverand trying to sneak the woman into his room. She was reportedly wearing Seahawks gear in an attempt to disguise herself as a player. The plan did not work, and now Siverand is unemployed.

The Seahawks did not comment on the suspension.

Siverand was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State and was given a $2,000 signing bonus by the Seahawks.

The last player cut for sneaking a woman into his hotel was Deon Long. He was let go by the Rams, and the incident was featured on the 2016 season of Hard Knocks
