LeBron James Calls Out Reports Of Executives Wanting To Cancel The Season

Lebron James was not happy at all early this morning over all the reports that players and agents are asking to cancel the rest of the 2020 NBA season after it came to a stop in March.

Adam Silver and the team has been looking around at very creative ways to finish out the regular season and the post season to eventually crown a champion.

When the reports surfaced on Thursday that others around the league has asked Silver to cancel the rest of the season. LeBron was not having it at all.

“Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season??? That’s absolutely not true,” LeBron wrote. “Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season.”

The Los Angeles Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference before the season was put to a halt due to COVID-19. The Purple and Gold were 49-14 and had a five and a half-game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the West standings.

The King was averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 10.6 assists before the games were suspended.
