On why he took the job at USC:
It really just comes down to being a competitor. I believe I have the energy and passion to match the tradition here. I want to bring a student athlete centric model that will hopefully inspire recruits to be a part of this and create an environment that will make us successful.
What attract great recruits? What we are missing a little bit is the sense to provide that world class experience by building a fan base and environment that give our young men and young women home building to give them a chance to be competitive.
