The San Jose Sharks made a very familiar addition to their front office Friday, hiring former Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti as a professional scout. Ned joined Fred Roggin and Rodney Peete to talk about his new job.
On his new job with the Sharks:
I am honored to have the opportunity and the seasons do not overlap.
He came to me about a year ago and he said would you consider doing this? I said yea if it doesn't interfere with baseball. I talked to the Dodgers about it, Spectrum SportsNet about it. They made me an offer a little while ago and we talked about it and I accepted it. I'm thrilled to be able to do it.
