The Dodgers have made a move as we get closer to the deadline.
According to Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers are close to acquiring Jed Gyorko from the St. Louis Cardinals. Adding Gyorko bolsters depth after of losing Kiké Hernandez and Chris Taylor to the 10-day IL. Though, Gyorko is not yet eligible to come off the 60-day injured list himself.
Taylor suffered a non-displaced fracture in his left forearm earlier this month. Hernandez was limited to playing the field and pinch-running last weekend because of a left hand injury. The Dodgers formally placed him on the injured list Monday, due to a left hand sprain.
