(WATCH): Alex Verdugo Clocks In At 97 MPH With This Throw To Home

2019 has been pretty unreal for Alex Verdugo.

Verdugo showed off his ridiculous arm with a throw home during Sunday night’s baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers-Boston Red Sox game in what is a rematch of last year's World Series.

Verdugo’s Dodgers were up 4-2 on the Red Sox in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Red Sox had runners on first and second with two outs when JD Martinez singled to left. Devers tried to score from second to home but was thrown out at the plate by Verdugo after that wild throw.

The throw came in at 97.1 mph and traveled about 231 feet.
