LeBron James Hasn't Been Able To Secure Top Talent For 'Space Jam 2'

LeBron James will be missing the playoffs for the first time in 10 years and will go into this summer putting his recruiting hat to get big name free agents. Not only does LeBron James have to recruit players like Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, and other to the Lakers, but he is having a bit of trouble getting top talent on Space Jam 2.

In Thursday's episode of the "The Jump," Rachel Nichols asked Brian Windhorst if he believes LeBron will "actively recruit" some of the elite free agents this summer. Here is what he had to say on that:

"And in all honesty, he’s been recruiting players to come and try to be in 'Space Jam' with him this summer, and he hasn’t been able to close some of those deals," Windhorst revealed. "Some of the top guys he wants to come and be with him in the movie … 'You put me in the movie where you’re the star, I’m gonna be the one you're dunking on."

Filming for Space Jam 2 is set to start this upcoming summer.
