Clayton Kershaw Will Start Off The Season On The Injured List

According to manager Dave Roberts, Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will start the season on the injured list.

The Dodgers' ace has been dealing shoulder issues this spring. Kershaw is not expected to be out long, though, with a mid-April season debut likely. Rich Hill was said to be "in the mix" of the most likely candidate to start on Opening Day for the Dodgers.

Although he is starting the season off on the injured list, Clayton Kershaw will throw a live BP tomorrow and there's a possibility he could face hitters on that Saturday. He won't pitch in the freeway series.
