Dave Roberts Says Corey Seager Is Still "Tracking" To Be Ready Opening Day

The Dodgers have arrived in Arizona and ready to start spring training.

Manager Dave Roberts spoke with the media on Wednesday and said that they are "tracking" for Corey Seager to be ready for opening day.

Corey Seager last season played in 26 games last season before undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery. Over the summer, Seager had another procedure to address the hip issue that he was having problems with.

Roberts also added that there will probably be less platooning this year because of the acquisition of A.J. Pollock and the return of Corey Seager. Barring any setbacks, Corey Seager will be the starting shortstop opening day.
