(VIDEO): Clayton Kershaw Working Out In The Dominican Republic

The beginning of the 2019 Major League Baseball season is among us.

Kershaw and his wife took a trip out to the Dominican Republic with their charity to serve various communities down there.

While he was there for charity, Kershaw made sure to get his workouts in to stay in shape ahead of pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training in two weeks. Video on Twitter by Jessica Mendoza shows Kershaw throwing out a series of pitches in the pouring rain in the Dominican Republic.

The 30-year-old is coming off signing a three-year contract extension in the offseason in which he will earn around $93 million.

Kershaw has had seven seasons with 200 strikeouts or more, six seasons with a sub-2.50 ERA, three seasons with a sub-2.00 ERA and six seasons with a WHIP below 1.00. He's thrown 175 or more innings seven times and has eight straight years of double-digit wins (2010-17).

Clayton Kershaw is coming in to the 2019 season getting ready to prove a lot of doubters wrong. Get ready Dodgers fans, Spring Training is officially 14 days away.
