Brandin Cooks Paid For Rams Custodian And His Son To Attend Super Bowl

Los Angeles Rams receiver Brandin Cooks is doing something really special for someone in the days before Super Bowl Sunday.

According to Mike Jones of USA today , Brandin Cooks will pay for Alfonso Garcia (the team custodian) and his son Josh, to attend the Super Bowl. Cooks wanted to honor Garcia for keeping the team’s locker room in “tip-top shape.”

"Oh, man, Alfonso—the guy is special, man. He keeps our locker room in tip-top shape. He has such a special soul. Someone that I found myself drawn to once I got there and I see him around the facility all the time. I just felt like it would be special for him to see that he is a part of this success as well, and I wanted him to be able to be at the Super Bowl with his son to enjoy that."

Cooks didn't come out and say this, but teammate Robert Woods said he inadvertently walked up on Cooks handing Garcia two tickets. In addition to the tickets, Cooks also took care of the flight and hotels as well.
