According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks are preparing to to make an offer for New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis. One team that has been linked to Anthony Davis the Boston Celtics, isn't a top target for Davis as of now.

Regarding team preferences, Boston is not a top target for Davis, sources said. There’s a growing belief of uncertainty that Kyrie Irving will re-sign with Boston, sources said, even though he vowed to do so at the beginning of the season. The Knicks have valuable trade chips in Kristaps Porzingis, rookie Kevin Knox and potentially the No. 1 overall pick in 2019.

Davis and his agent Rich Paul have yet to give the Pelicans a list of teams he's interested in being trading to. As of right now, Anthony Davis plans to play out the season unless the Pelicans pull the trigger on a deal they like from the Lakers or Knicks.
