Lakers Will Not Make Lonzo Ball Available In Trade Talks

With the NBA trade deadline just a couple weeks away, many are speculating that the Lakers will be making a move

According to Ken Berger of Bleacher Report, he revealed about how the Lakers are approaching the trade deadline, and which players will and will not be available when it comes to trades.

”At one point a month ago, they were dangling Lonzo a little bit, but now they don’t want to trade him,” one of the execs said.

Ball has shown big time flashes of his potential since LeBron James suffered the groin injury vs. the Warriors on Christmas Day. He is shooting a team-high 38.9 percent while also averaging 12.9 points, 6.9 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. With Ball being off trade talks, other Lakers are reportedly available in those talks if a trade scenario comes up.

Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac and Moritz Wagner are available, rival executives say, while pretty much everyone else is off the table.

NBA trade deadline is on February 7th.
