Joe Kelly Spoke Out For The First Time Since The Signing

The week, pitcher Joe Kelly and the Dodgers agreed to a three-year deal worth $25 million.

Kelly spoke with Rob Bradford of WEEI Radio in Boston and explained the Dodgers were the only team to offer him a three-year deal. The 30-year-old pitched to a 4.39 ERA in 73 regular-season games with the Red Sox in 2018. Kelly was lights out during the World Series vs. the Dodgers.

Our insider David Vassegh talks about the Joe Kelly deal  and everything else going on with the Dodgers.

It was a three hour meeting with Friedman and the Dodgers gave him a year of his contract for every hour he was in that meeting. The Dodgers were the only other team that gave him three years.
