Earlier this season, Quick missed 5 games of the season with an injury. Jonathan Quick has been a big part of the teams that won two Stanley Cups the last in six years with the kings.

Coach Stevens weighed in on the injury suffered by Quick:

"Injuries do happen and not sure there's anything in particular you can point to in this situation."

The LA Kings have called up Peter Budaj from the Ontario Reign to back up Jack Campbell as the Kings continue their seven-game home stand.
