Chip Kelly Refuses To Name A Starting Quarterback

Is a quarterback change coming in UCLA?

After dropping to 0-4, Chip Kelly and UCLA know they have to shake some things up to get back on track. Chip Kelly didn't give the media any indication who would start at quarterback Saturday against No. 10 Washington according to LA Times

Through all the recent struggles, Chip Kelly has talked very highly about freshman quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and even mentioned how they need to protect him better.

He's never once overwhelmed by the moment and so you love coaching him because of his approach to everything. He wants to get better every day, he wants to win.

There are some times when we weren’t in the right protection call where we should have had some linebackers picked up that came off the edge that I think in his mind should have been picked up,” Kelly said. “So there’s a little bit of miscommunication we have to work on."

Today, LA Times reporter Ben Bolch said that Dorian Thompson-Robinson took first team reps over Wilton Speight. It is only a matter of time until we hear who Chip Kelly decides to go with on Saturday.
