Dodgers Take Sole Control Of First Place In The NL West

The Los Angeles Dodgers stand alone atop the NL West for the first time all season following Thursday's victory over the San Diego Padres.

Heading into Friday, the Dodgers hold a half-game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are up three games each on the San Fransisco Giants and Colorado Rockies, and currently lead the last-place San Diego Padres by 12.5 games.

The Dodgers look to keep their winning ways going this weekend, as they host the Angels for the Freeway Series.
