What appeared to be thousands of Lakers fans showed up at Blaze Pizza in Culver City on Tuesday afternoon following an ominous tweet from LeBron James, but the NBA superstar did not show up.

It should be noted that James never confirmed an appearance. He did, however, seem to imply the possibility of such after tweeting, "Haven’t been to a pizza party in a minute. Culver City?" The tweet was in response to a LeBron-themed Blaze Pizza promotion offering free pizzas in Southern California to celebrate James' arrival in Los Angeles.

While LeBron James may not have showed up, AM 570 LA Sports was on-site for coverage all day long. From never-ending lines of excited Lakers fans, to the disappointment at the end, check out all the action below.
